About this experience
Discover why Bohol is one of the Philippines’ most-loved islands on this full-day private countryside tour. Your driver picks you up from your hotel, resort or residence anywhere in Tagbilaran or Panglao at around 8:00 AM, and takes you to the island’s most famous sights in a comfortable private vehicle.
Start with Bohol’s history at the Blood Compact Shrine and the centuries-old Baclayon Church, then meet one of the country’s biggest pythons. Around midday, board a floating restaurant for the Loboc River Cruise: enjoy a buffet lunch while drifting past lush jungle and riverside villages.
In the afternoon, meet the tiny, big-eyed Philippine tarsier at a tarsier viewing area, visit the St. Peter’s Ruins Church and the ship-shaped Batuan Shiphaus, and drive through the cool, shaded Bilar Man-Made Mahogany Forest. Stop at the Butterfly Garden before the highlight of the day: the world-famous Chocolate Hills, over a thousand perfectly rounded hills stretching to the horizon. If time permits, finish with a stop for local souvenirs and pasalubong before heading back to your hotel at around 4:00 PM.
Good to know: breakfast is not included, so eat at your hotel before pick-up or ask your driver for a quick stop. Times are estimates and may change with traffic and your hotel’s location.
