About this experience
Head out to the rich fishing waters around Siargao on an exclusive private fishing charter. Guided by experienced local fishermen, you will search for some of the Philippines’ most exciting game fish with professional equipment, on a boat fitted with a fish finder (sonar) and GPS navigation. Between fishing sessions, swim in crystal-clear water, freedive or snorkel in selected safe spots, or simply relax on board and enjoy the views of the Philippine Sea.
Choose the Siargao Sportfisher (up to 5 guests) or a traditional Filipino fishing boat (up to 2 guests) when you book. The price is per person and gets lower the bigger your group.
Fishing
Trolling, jigging and bottom fishing. Depending on the season and sea conditions, you may encounter yellowfin and skipjack tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo, giant trevally, Spanish mackerel, barracuda, grouper, snapper, rainbow runner, and seasonal sailfish and marlin.
Catch sharing
All fish caught are shared equally: 50% for the guests and 50% for the captain and crew, which motivates the crew to find the best fishing grounds. Catches can never be guaranteed, as fishing depends on weather, tides, sea conditions and fish movement. You can bring your catch to a local restaurant after the tour to have it cooked (restaurant cooking fees apply).
Ocean activities
When conditions allow: swimming in the open ocean, freediving, optional snorkeling and underwater photography. Dolphins and sea turtles are sometimes seen but not guaranteed.
Important notes
Fishing locations are chosen based on weather and sea conditions, and the captain may move to different grounds. The tour may be rescheduled or cancelled if conditions are unsafe for offshore travel. Please follow all safety instructions from the captain and crew.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat or cap, a camera, a waterproof bag, swimwear, a towel, a change of clothes, a light jacket, non-slip footwear, motion sickness medication if needed, and personal snacks and drinks.

Cancellation policy
Free cancellation more than 3 days before the tour date for a full refund (excluding the Processing Fee). Cancellations within 3 days of the tour date: 50% refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the tour, and no-shows: no refund. Full refund if the Coast Guard or local tourism office stops sailing because of severe weather, or if a lockdown or local government rule prevents entry to Siargao. If your flight or ferry is cancelled because of severe weather, you can reschedule the tour free of charge within the year. A group member who cannot join must be removed at least 3 days before the tour, otherwise the full price for that person applies.
