Bangkok Highlights Shore Excursion from Laem Chabang (Private Tour)

Only one day in Bangkok? our will make sure you get the most out of your time by taking you to see the central Bangkok highlights which include The Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha, Wat Arun, and the Thonburi canal backwaters by boat.

our will pick you up from your cruise boat in Laem Chabang and commence the drive into Bangkok. Our first stop of the day will be one of Bangkok’s must-see attractions the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. The Grand Palace was built as a royal residence and over the years many additions have been made including the stunning Wat Phra Kaew which houses the Emerald Buddha carved out of a single piece of Jade! We will then take a cross-river ferry to one of Bangkok’s most Iconic temples Wat Arun on the banks of the Chao Phraya River before boarding a long-tail boat to get out on the Chao Phraya river. We will then proceed into the narrow Thonburi canal backwaters where you will observe a very much more laid back pace of life well away from the hustle of modern Bangkok life

This is a 100% private tour just for you and your group, with your own vehicle, driver and licensed English-speaking guide. You will not join other travellers. The price is per person and gets lower the bigger your group (up to 9 guests; for larger groups, contact us).

Meals

This is a Full day tour and we will provide lunch. Special dietary requirements can be catered to on request.

Pick-up and drop-off

Price includes pick up and drop off from Laem Chabang Port. We can also arrange to drop you off at a Bangkok or Pattaya hotel if required or we can pick you up from a Bangkok or Pattaya hotel and drop you at Laem Chabang after the tour is complete. Please provide accurate scheduled arrival and departures times of your cruise ship at the time of booking. All Cruise ship tours assume an arrival time no later than 08:00 and departure time no earlier than 18:00. If your shore time is shorter than this then we can customize an itinerary to suit, please contact us for advice and a suggested itinerary.

Grand Palace dress code

Visitors are required to dress appropriately. The following clothes are strictly not allowed as outer garments for both ladies and gentlemen:

1. Shorts, mini-skirts, short skirts, tight-fitting trousers, tight leggings, and tights, (Long skirts lower than your knees are allowed.)
2 . See-through shirts and blouses, as well as culottes or quarter length trousers
3. Sleeveless shirts or vests (t-shirts are allowed)
4. Sandals (without ankle or heel straps)
5. Rolled-up-sleeved shirts
6. Sweatshirts and sweatpants, wind-cheaters, pyjamas, and fisherman trousers

Further dress code notes:
Long Trousers, pants are required, not just only the knee-level ones. Quarter length trousers cannot be worn.
No hole in any part of jeans, skirts, pants, and trousers should be seen.
Scarves or shawls cannot be worn to cover your shoulders, a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt must be worn
